متن کامل[Half-nose; a very rare congenital anomaly].
Aplasia of the nose is a very rare, congenital anomaly in our field. It emerges as a complete absence of the external nose and all nasal cavities on both sides, or an absence of one half of the nose and its associated nasal cavity. The latter case is called "halfnose." Etiologically, it is akin to tubular proboscis, anomaly with a snout-like nasal appendage on, or by the mid-line of the face. T...
متن کاملCONGENITAL HEART DISEASE Isolated left ventricular apical hypoplasia: a new congenital anomaly described with cardiac tomography
Objective: To describe cardiac tomography findings of an apparently new, presumably congenital, left ventricular (LV) abnormality noted consistently in three patients. Patients: Three patients presenting with non-specific symptoms including fatigue, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort were evaluated with cardiac tomography for cardiac structure and function. Results: Findings from the thre...
متن کاملSplenogonadal fusion: a very rare congenital anomaly in the differential diagnosis of a testicular mass.
Splenogonadal fusion is a rare congenital anomaly characterized by congenital fusion between the spleen and testicular tissue. In the literature, there are approximately 175 reported cases, and most of them are associated with cryptorchidism. In this article, we report an unusual case of splenogonadal fusion that was pre-diagnosed as a solid testicular mass in a patient who underwent orchiectomy.
متن کاملPacman Heart as a Congenital Cardiac Defect Associated with Flail Mitral Valve and a Partial form of Shone\'s Complex; A Case Report
Partial muscular inter-ventricular septal defect (VSD) or Pacman heart is a rare congenital or occasionally acquired anomaly. Concurrent Pacman heart and Shone's complex are extremely rare and have never been reported until now. We described a 37-year-old male patient with congenital Pacman heart, flail mitral valve (FMV), and a history of multiple congenital anomalies, including subvalvular ao...
